Arthropods have a segmented body and limbs with joints. Their body has three parts: head, thorax and abdomen. Many have antennae and some have wings. They have external armour that protects their bodies called an exoskeleton. Insects (beetles and bees) are arthropods.

Molluscs are invertebrates. They have a soft body and some have a shell. Many have tentacles. They live in water or moist places.
Worms have a long, soft body. They live on land or others live in water. Some worms are parasites: they live inside, or on the skin of, another aniamal and feed on them.
